Many students who attend our DUI/Risk Reduction Class are initially confused between the pre-class assessment and drug and alcohol evaluation. I would like to clarify the difference. The pre-class assessment is a questionnaire that a student must complete prior to the class. This assessment consists of 130 questions about your lifestyle and usually takes about 30 minutes. It is a requirement in order to take the DUI/Risk Reduction class. The drug and an alcohol evaluation is administered by a DHR certified evaluator. It usually takes about an hour and the minimum cost is $95. Typically the evaluator wants a copy of the pre-class assessment and a copy of the certificate of completion in order to finalize their report.
